We're hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk

We're hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our office in Barrie, ON. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Picking and packing small piece orders 
  • Full cycle shipping process and management 
  • Receive and unload all incoming shipments 
  • Maintain warehouse area in an organized, clean, safe and secure manner 
  • Ship and pack course materials, ensure equipment is signed out/returned 
  • Inspect shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of shipment 
  • Maintains Shipping/Receiving departmental supplies inventory 
  • Physical audit to compare records to actual counts for fiscal year and on a quarterly basis 
  • Ensure inventory is maintained using first in first out (FIFO) method 
  • Utilize the Corporate ERP system 
  • Performs clerical duties for management when required 
  • Follow established safety processes and procedures

  • Ability to use a computer proficiently and confidently 
  • High energy and the flexibility to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to take initiative on a daily basis and work well independently as well as within a team 
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds 
  • High School diploma or higher
  • Previous related experience is an asset
